NDIS Newsletter Navigator ("NDIS Navigator", "we", "us", "our") is an independent online resource that helps Australians navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through plain-English answers, community stories, expert guides, and a fortnightly newsletter. We are operated by Turbojet Marketing, an Australian business.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve the service:
We use your information to provide, personalise, and improve the app; to send the newsletter and welcome emails; to respond to support questions; to publish approved community stories and comments; to sync your data to our internal records for administration; to generate plain-English answers and news using AI tools; and to analyse usage so we can improve content and features.
We do not sell your information. We share it only as described below:
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Newsletter and support records are retained for administration unless you unsubscribe or request deletion.
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your information. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which removes your account and associated data. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Contact page.
We will respond in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law.
The app is not directed at children under 16. Where an NDIS participant is a minor, information is provided and managed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor's data has been provided without consent, contact us and we will remove it.
Your information may be processed or stored by our service providers outside Australia. By using the app, you consent to these transfers in accordance with this policy.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The app uses minimal local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the Contact page.
We will respond in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law.
